I attended a stake conference in which Bishop Keith B. Mcmullen spoke about how to prepare for Christmas in which we should celebrate 5 Advents of the Christmas season. They are:
1. Use the topical guide in the standard works of the Church and search under "Send me" or use the internet to look it up
2. Use the topical guide and search or use the internet under "Unto us a Son is given"
3. Use the topical guide and search or use the internet under "Condescension"
4. Use the topical guide and search or use the internet under "Handmaid"
5. Search Joseph Smith's Testimony in the 76th section  concerning the Savior "He lives! for we saw Him on the right hand of God"
Study each topic each Sunday leading up to January 2nd, one each week.
