Boyd K. Packer, President of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles said:

"Obedient to revelation, we call ourselves The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints...[Latter-day Saints] talk of Christ, we rejoice in Christ, we preach of Christ, we prophesy of Christ, and we write according to our prophecies, that our children may know to what source they may look for a remission of their sins"...Some claim we are not Christians. They either do not know us at all or they misunderstand...This church - The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is where we find 'the great plan of happiness.'"
