Concerning the name of Jesus Christ, King Benjamin stated to his people:

"I say unto you, I would that ye should remember to retain the name written always in your hearts, that ye are not found on the left hand of God, but that ye hear and know the voice by which ye shall be called, and also the name by which he shall call you...Therefore, I would that ye should be steadfast and immovable, always abounding in good works, that Christ, the Lord God Omnipotent, may seal you his, that you may be brought to heaven, that ye may have everlasting salvation and eternal life, through the wisdom, and power, and justice, and mercy of him who created all things, in heaven and in earth, who is God above all. Amen.

These were people who decided to make Christ the center of their lives. They were deeply moved by the Holy Spirit, which wrought a change in their hearts, that they had no more "disposition to do evil", but to do good continually. I know they were a great strength in the Nephite nation and were a highly favored people of the Lord.

I know that Christ stands at the head of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He is supremely righteous and kind. He loves those who will have him to be their God. He is my friend, my Savior, and my Redeemer. I will testify of him with words, and desire to by doing the things that he asked. He always lived and taught the truth in the midst of great opposition. He ultimately paid the price and gave his life because of the evil of sinful and foolish men. He did it out of love for all humanity. I love Him. In His holy name, Amen.
